Have changed my Puma to one of the above, is it right that the PTO stops when you get out of the tractor? F,ing thing, how am I suposed to fill sprayer? Also, the mirrior bodies are the most cheap and nasty things, cannot move them any whichway except in and out, my sprayer boom hits them:banghead:. fange axle instead of beam axle so my row crops are 4 inch too narrow on the back. Wish I had kept my old tractor.

I had the same problem with a different brand of tractor but the seat will be the same

Took some advise off this forum.. theres 2 star shaped screws under the base of your seat at the front of it but underneath take them out and the cushioned part of the seat lifts off then there’s a obvious switch type thing pull the spring Out cable tie it down then put the seat and 2 screws back on:rolleyes::ROFLMAO:;)

There's a button Infront of the PTO engagement switch, press it with the handbrake on and the PTO will remain on. Not difficult.

The bar axle is an option, you clearly haven't selected it when purchasing 🙄 as for the mirrors, I've never had an issue with mine, find they're better than most I've used

That's what kept happening to us! 😂

Put the pto on jump out of the cab, before I'd get level with the back wheels (it was like Tommy Cooper) "just like that" the pto switched off.

This went on for half the morning, no sence for us to look at the manual 🙄, the old man blowing a gasket swearing, calling me names and repeating constantly "this effin tractor has to go back!"

Even the mechanic felt a bit sheepish when the service manager phoned him to press the button for three seconds then "get off your arse! 😂

This and lots more is something to do with ‘Mother Regs’, whatever that might be.
Give it 10 years and there will be more nannying switches and wiring than the rest of the tractor put together, to prevent you 'breaking wind on a Tuesday', or whatever other evils take the bureaucrats fancy.

was a right pain even sometimes I’d hold the switch but likely not for long enough get out and it would stop

Tried the button yesterday, did nowt, then tractor had a hissy fit and threw a fault code 5030. the button has worked today. I havent signed on the dotted line for this tractor,it is just here till the proper one is made. long story. The mirrors on my old one I could slacken the knob on the arms and tilt the mirrow head down out of the way of my sprayer arms, this one with the new type mirror will not tilt down, exhaust in way of pushing it forward to next position.

There is options for mirror arms, well there is on Maxxumms and Vestrum so assume Puma is the same. On exhaust side you usually need to pull it back in towards the cab to get it folded in

One way to get the pto to stay on when getting out the seat I found is to get out the seat and then press the button to start the pto so you technically never get off the seat when the pto is going. Works on our masseys at least so may help you

God help you if HSE ever investigate an accident.

That said, after 2 years I’m still getting off having forgot to press the button, it is very tempting
