You might have been 10 years after but I expect 🐷 Sadler used the same notes for your lectures. We probably had the same notes he used for the class of 71-72 🤦
Did he used to stand in front of you holding his snooker cue?

I was there from 75-79 (one of the remedials who had to do pre-ent course
Sadler always had his snooker cue with him and invariably wore a fawn coloured duffel coat.

I remember playing him on stage in the college revue of 1977 and pointing my cue at the Principal in the front row and asking “Are you smoking lad....? Well don’t!”

Other lecturers there were Tempest, Gedeye, Bomber Bradley, Henry Hollinshead, Roy Mathias, Rhys Davies, Roy Jefferson, Colonel Nixon the bursar, Dr. Boynes, Luscomb and others too many to mention.

Ah yes, he was on the BSc course with me. Standing in the photo between Rognvald (Ronnie) Burnside (Frontier) and Giles Coley.
Isn't Giles Coley further to the right and back a row? He's been to our stall at the farmers' market in Shrewsbury more recently (pre pandemic). Think he's working for Grainlink.

Yes, you are correct, my mistake. Giles stood next to Richard Jones.
Age and eyesight don’t go together 🤣

So who is it stood next to Johnny on his right?
