Only need it for light applications but often of N and then P&K

Want something new that isn't going to break the bank, if you can get one that will hold 3 bags great, don't want boarder control or anything like that as I've GPS on the tractor. Just need something that's easy to set up and adjust

Thanks all

I usually try test each year with 2 friends. Amazone Kuhn and KRM machines. All spread well and problems are usually caused by poor quality fertiliser. Any of those makes will be great for you and possibly add Kvernland as they get a lot of love on here.

Just go for the basic models they make. I’ve had 3 KRM machines they have all been great easy to use and few problems. Started with a simple one, now got all the goodies. Wouldn’t hesitate to have another.

Everybody on here seems to hate Amazon but I see little wrong with them. Mine has been here a while.
It's says made in West Germany on it....
Nice machines apart from having to swap the headland disc on the early ones. Mine cost me nothing in 6 years but I've changed to Lely Centerliner as below.

Teagle/lely/tulip or whatever they are now, basic, cheap and very accurate.
By various means I've now got 3 of these.
Hydraulic tilt for headland but you can't shut off one side of the spreader.

Is there anyone makes a spreader with a single hopper rather than the dual hopper type, ?

If your only spreading 500kg and have hilly ground its a bit of a nuiscance having to get out and manually divide out the fert between both sides when you come to the end.
You'll be looking for a kuhn. Double disc. I've been using them since 1984. On my 5th. Main reason for buying a kuhn was the single hopper. Can hold up to 2 ton depending on extensions

The single hopper is what would draw me to kuhn. The split hopper in my centreliner is a pain if only doing a wee bit on grazing paddocks
