bit of an understatement!I recently bought the farm & it hasnt been farmed in years so just trying to tidy the brambles & managed to just clip a cut down tree trunk hidden in the brambles.
no it isn'tIt's not the air. It's a chain reaction in the tyre.
I think you need to listen and watch he stated the tyre reseated itself its the super heated air that expands can't escape and cause the tyre to explodewatch the video in full, towards the end he talks about 2 examples, one specifically where they had removed the tyre from the bead on one side and proceeded to weld the rim. The chemical reaction happens so fast that the heat produced expanded the atmospheric air within the tyre so quickly it re-seated the tyre before it then exploded, killing one of the 2 fitters working on the job.
Wouldn’t even dream of working on a rim with the tyre still onthere's no air in it so how will that happen
I agree, but what caused the air to become superheated was a chemical reaction within the tyre carcass called pyrolysis, which in turn was initiated by applying heat to the tyre rim.I think you need to listen and watch he stated the tyre reseated itself its the super heated air that expands can't escape and cause the tyre to explode
like I said won't happen if there is no air in it
I can’t work in a vacuum….maybe you can ?there's no air in it so how will that happen
It's called pyrolysis. As others have said, watch the video.no it isn't
Every day’s a school day ….It's called pyrolysis. As others have said, watch the video.
Couple of hours from you but I would pretty much bet Peter Shepherd will have one in stock and am pretty sure he'll be about tomorrow at least and would probably answer the phone today. Its bank holiday, no parts available for a week
If you can locate and pay for it I can have someone in to collect within 90 minutes and bring it straight to you if the dealer will cooperate.Couple of hours from you but I would pretty much bet Peter Shepherd will have one in stock and am pretty sure he'll be about tomorrow at least and would probably answer the phone today.
you watch it and tell me what is causing the tyre to explode heated air thats trapped if there is no air or a way for it to escape at a rate that exceeds the expansion it won't explode the same as any pressure vesselIt's called pyrolysis. As others have said, watch the video
