Revy vs Univoq?

I will probably risk univoq at t2. It did cost me a set of anti-drip diaphragms but the product is cheaper than revystar and possibly superior 🤔.
On the other hand, I use a contractor on a distant block and he had a lot more problems so will probably refuse to use univoq again!

Univoq is technically better, and problems aside, I’d rather use it at T1 as it has better action on septoria on dead tissue (lower leaves) and save the Revystar for T2. However with the mixing restrictions and water volumes Univoq does suit T2 better if you’re going to chance it. Too much of a risk for me.

It will be interesting to see at the end of this season how many problems there have been - I haven’t heard of any yet at T1. Hopefully none, as it’s not an SDHI it fits well apart from the issues.

the less farmers that do not use univoq the longer it will be effective for

use it at t2 here last year no problem so will again
May up water rate if we use it at a higher rate
if May stays wet then the full rate will be needed and give good returns

Don't forget the buffer zone restrictions that Univoq has that Revystar does not. Another reason not to use it.
Both have aquatic buffer zone restrictions! Univoq have 12 metres, Revystar have 5 metres. Unfortunately if you crop close to a water carrying dyke you have to go around with another product with no buffer zones( but those are nearly all getting banned/withdrawn from sale:cry:)

But the Revysol 5m buffer zone can be reduced with a LERAP, the Univoq 12m buffer cannot.
A lot of our water courses are buffered with a 6m grass margin, and we usually won't have the time to go round again with another product.
