Giving up the Pittodrie season ticket for the Locos?
Stupidity stopped the Don's getting 3 points yesterday, which is frustrating.
I was very impressed with the work rate and endeavour by the Locos players.

The professionals at Pittodrie could learn a thing or too from them.

Don't seem to show same desire to win, in my opinion.

Well playing football is hardly working for a living,
Locos must be getting some money pumped into them took Turriffs manager with his salary anything between 20 -40 grand , not bad for a highland league side

I see Dingwall Collective sale this week is now an On-Line affair. Had a look at it last night and many lots no photo's up yet.
Had a friend on phone last night about it. His take on it, No need for Auctioneer's. Never thought on it till he mentioned it but its all run by computer, just needs a few yardsmen and somebody to take photo's.

Is this the way many sales, livestock included could be changing?

What will redundant Auctioneers do?

Dingwall were only accepting entries today and yesterday, so they can be forgiven for not having pictures up yet. The last in person sale was a poorly attended affair - very small crowd and minimal atmosphere. Still needed a huge number of staff to man the yard though, so costs were high and minimal revenue for the mart from food.

Seems to be better prices for sellers when online too, plus more convenient for buyers (you can follow all sales, not just one auctioneer, so you can buy a tractor, a plough and a bag of rusty bolts all in the same day.)

I think that Dingwall works the auction team hard enough with live auctions, so if this works then good on them. But no, I can't see it moving to sell livestock this way.

Would make them too honest to get rid of auctioneers.
