Or when they advertise a machine.....but its replacement won't be delivered for another 6 weeks.
Well its not for frigging sale then is it.
I don't go to Tescos and they say well here's the deal the beef you want is still in the field atm. Should be here week Tuesday do come back then!

I searched TFF last night to try and find the answer to this very question, as maybe it's been covered before. No luck though .
I guess the answer is if they don't bother stating the price, then don't bother asking 🤔. Really annoying.

At the moment, with work, home schooling and farming, machinery purchases are looked at on an evening on the tablet. POA don;t make the short list to be called the next day as i don;t have time to ring all the POA. Its only those who put a price and then there is a shortlist

I think it's because farm machinery can go up in price and they don't want to be caught out?
Say they value a trailer at 8k but advertise it as POA, but then an identical one sells in an auction for 9k they then ask more for the one in the yard.
It would be more difficult if it was advertised everywhere for 8k!

I noticed recently on some buy and sell page on fb for farm machinery that only properly priced adverts will be allowed and none with poa or priced somethin like 123456 or 876543. So basicly there sayin either advertise with price or stick ur advert up ur hole. Proper order

Feel like messaging them “£123456 seems a bit much, would you take £113456?”
