Simba freeflow seed flow issues

Done a fair bit of work with a simba free flow. Have to fan on priory. So u get max air flow as when u you another function it takes the oil from the fan. Make sure it’s all clean in the fan box and seals are all intact. Never had any problems unless the wheel was turning and the fan wasn’t on

Mine runs direct hydraulic at around 2600 (to 2800 when warm) rpm and has never blocked as you say other than with some trash etc.

Take off the end plates again and at a top corner of the box there are welded plates, make sure its clean there, half an inch of seed at the bottom of the box makes little difference.

PS, If you drive it direct from the tractor oil make sure its on a priority spool to keep speed up when dropping markers in

Just a quick update got the pto motor off and took to bits didn’t look to be an issue but have took it off anyway. Fitted it straight in to the tractor spool
Block and flow return had it going this morning and worked a treat can speed is adjusting all the way up to 3000 and more if needed so next job hopefully when it drys will be to try again see if that solves the issues now.

Think all the latter FreeFlow drills were plumbed direct into the spool rather than use the PTO fan which is more suitable for old style big hp tractors with poor hydraulics.
