I learned that BT doesn't know when its superfast broadband is down, but the helpful openreach engineers spied at work at the foot of the road, will tell you whats what, and fix it.

I learnt that adjusting my trailer brakes wasn't just a case of tightening a 5/8" AF nut with a deep socket on the ratchet handle as they don't supply a 16mm socket which would do the job. Had to use two 16mm spanners at 30 degrees at a time as nut is between chassis rails.
Bet @Old Boar needed the same socket for her fan belt.

Webinar: Expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive offer 2024 -26th Sept

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
