Bit meaningless without a location!Blown itself out here now ithink
Crazy amount of sideways rain here.Horizontal rain and swaying street lamps in Widnes this morning. Had to cancel a planned visit to Talacre sands; discretion being the better part of valour!
Having done my very windswept but not too wet cattle feeding this morning I've had a lazy day watching BigJet TV (some nutter braving it out and broadcasting a live Youtube stream of planes landing / attempting to land at Heathrow) and FlightRadar 24 telling you what's coming in and seeing them stacking up.
Hilarious commentary, no doubt some of you know who I mean.
Admittedly a lot of stacking is I think because the transAtlantic arrivals are arriving way ahead of schedule due to the following wind. It's currently raining so hard there that you can't actually see them landing.
Crazy amount of sideways rain here.
I was at Talacre in 1986 when Hurricane Charlie came through. I was on a horse!
