I had a walk along the Thames yesterday. In a silage field there were over 30 red kites circling. On the entire walk (37 miles) I saw NO skylarks or lapwings. I wonder why that would be- is it ‘changing farm practices’ or ‘use of agrochemicals poisoning the environment’?
