I have a trimbe xcn 750. Its missing its roof attena. Is there any other ones that would fit without being too expensive
The XCN 750 is the same as the Trimble GFX 350? I've been looking online at them and the NAV 500 alone is about $1000, have a nephew doing the harvest trail and considering asking him to bring the screen and antenna back in his suitcase.

How do you find the XCN 750? Are you running Viewpoint RTX or just EGNOS?
I believe the roof antenna has a lot of the brains in it so would have to be trimble (or nh / case badged equivalent).
Had a NH badged version of the 750 for 3 months now and getting on well with it, much easier to work than the older 750.
With only just getting it why would it not have the antenna? Is it still in among the packaging?Iv only just got it. Not been used yet
You need to change the settings as @clbarclay saysWe will have to have another look at it. Trouble is we have been spoilt with a built in system shared between the combine and main tractor which is far superior I think. Picks up lines no prob and works in reverse etc.
Having to get more or less bang on the line for it to work is a pain in the .........! That does need sorting one way or another, especially if dad jumps on.
We have altered it to the lowest forward speed 1.6km to allow switch on.
Short answer is no, I’ve had one for 4 years and your right you nearly need to be bang on line before it wii engage. Compared to full auto steer it’s rubbish but once online it’s every bit as good, I’m told ezpilot is no better just nicer to look at but ezpilot pro is as good as autosteer but doesn’t work with a cfx you need a GFXI'm not certain on the 750, but on some Trimble devices there is a settings for maximum distance and angle off line the system will engage steering at. I just set them to the maximums it will allow.
You should be able to change this in the settings without buying anything. If you go through the calibration settings you will see some options for approach and aggressiveness. I put in a link to the user manual for the CFX-750I recently bought an ez pilot with cfx750 screen 2nd hand. We have been using it today topping some failed osr!
Not overly impressed with it at the moment, you have to be near enough right on the line for it to pick it up and it lost signal today so my chap started steering manually instead. It runs on rangepoint, are there software upgrades or setting so it picks up the line further away? Thanks
There are only two options i believe for the XCN-750/GFX-350, that is a Nav-500 and a Nav-900. Nav-900's are for sale individually yet, but the Nav-500 is. https://agtogo.com/collections/gfx-350™-accessoriesI have a trimbe xcn 750. Its missing its roof attena.
