Not going to mention any names… but I once had 4 missed calls ( I was MD of company at the time and was in a board meeting) . I rang the customer back. ( they were very polite) . They were after a part for a 15-18 year old machine. I phoned the factory and was told 3-4 weeks. I phoned said customer back all within in 2 hours and told them the news . Same customer had called dealer, sales rep and our factory in that time to get exactly the same news…. The machine wasn’t needed for 2-3 weeks but I get their worry. All in all four people took the phone call and stopped what they were doing do get an answers the same answer…. . Sometimes when we call for parts we don’t know what else is going on…. Only sometimes. If it’s always then it’s bad service but I don’t hear many complaints about TWB… Rember poor Andy Guest…. Well I wonder how many missed calls he had that sad day….. .

Once upon a time, in the dim and distant past, I had some money. I decided to spend it on a new low loader trailer.

After two enquiries proved fruitless, I had an independent chap come and measure up. I’ve seen his bespoke trailers, they are superb. But he stopped answering the phone, so I gave up.

A premium trailer builder up north took the job on. It was July and he said I would have it by November. I paid the £1800 + VAT deposit.

October, nothing. No call backs, no communication.

November, they hadn’t started it but will soon.

December, same story. I called December 20th, closed until January 7th.

I called January 8th. Twice. Eventually got a call back on the 12th. They had been very busy and hadn’t started to build my trailer. I said you couldn’t have been that busy, you were closed for nearly three f**king weeks!

He said it would be ready in February.
I asked for my deposit back. That took nearly a month.

I revamped my existing trailer and still have it.

Twunts.
Lucky you got your deposit back

Hi,
Has anyone modded their TWB mole to take a double ended leg - or is there a reversible leg that fits? It seems bizarre that you have to throw away so much good metal when other brands have reversible legs. I tried calling Terry but, as appears common, no answer to the call.

Thanks
