Conspicuous by his absence from the Country file report was Lloyd's Ambassador Adam Henson if this guy had any shred of decency he would resign & give his fee to some farming charity am sure he will be able to survive on his B B C salarly
Unlike Des Phillips Lloyd's & R B S victims
Adam and Matt Baker seem to be golden children of BBC unable to say anything remotely conterversal to nice nicely for me I like a mans man

Much has been made of the A & S scoping exercise and it's conclusions being upheld laterly by senior authorities, when their latter exercise ignored the evidence and questions can now be asked whether that original scoping exercise which they endorsed actually occured.
Pack of lies served up by Sue Mountstevens and crew, she should resign. It is now abundantly clear that when Gargan requested complainants contact A &S ,but not hand over evidence until requested, they already had ,in their possession the information they based the scanning exercise on.This was further information on a case that was looked at by the SFO in 2006.
This means that no information was gathered about the most contentious issue at that time, the collaboration between UKAF and Connaught ,which resulted in catastrophic losses for borrowers and huge losses for the investors into the fund. This was what the Radio 4 programme 'The Country Rogue' was based on.
You're right to mention Hillsborough,a committed fight for justice and South Yorks Police facing their accusers at last.I hope I live long enough to see,or better give my account of the misfeasance of individuals responsible in A&S.This I might add is not restricted to those currently in office, this has been covered up for years

But A & S had 44 complaints and that was only as a result of the old bush telegraph.

We know some of those 44 provided details of their experiences to add flesh and substance to justify an investigation.

Furthermore the I.P.C.C. upheld two complaints made in relation to how this affair was handled by them, to no apparent effect.

Shut the whole lot down, the crooks have free rein anyway, so they won't be missed.

Hopefully although I did not see the countryfile report this will start to bring this corruption out of the shadows. Whats needed is a sea change in attitude by the Judiciary which at present assumes a bank customer is the guilty party until proven innocent. As in my case I managed to prove to the courts satisfaction that the bank had no binding contract because the bank had not signed the agreement. The judge then found in my favour that the contract was unenforceable. Great you may think but no all this means is that the Judge is now free to make up whatever she felt was a fitting punishment for the adacity of bringing such a claim to court. In my case restitution at the simple interest rate of 24% per annum on the theorectical loan received which had been judged to be unenforceable. And they call that British Justice. In the process breaking many "Judicial rules" but who cares she had total power within her court to do as she pleased including the right not to allow an Appeal which she applied.

Apparently,on the instruction of the Attorney General at the time,Jeremy Wright QC ,I believe, seminars were actually held instructing the judiciary that wherever possible they had to avoid passing judgement against the lenders.
Clearly shows that those at the top were well aware of what had gone on in the banks, but had to take action to make sure it wasn't exposed.
Scandalous.

https://www.theguardian.com/busines...k-chief-resigns-over-money-laundering-scandal Seem to remember des saying how he had close working relationship with these people
Des has made many, many claims over the years, many spurious, some with a grain of truth and possibly, just possibly some factual, but doubtful.

One claim he made some 8 years ago was that Acorn was established at the behest of Barclay's to purchase back his distressed loan book, which failed because he hadn't been making payments, surprise, surprise!!

Events over the last 8 years and the distress created for all who have been touched by his business ventures, can be traced back to this light bulb moment. Was this a wild claim or not in the circumstances, well Barclay's saved him 4 years later with the Co-op Bank?!

Draw your own conclusions.
