UK says it aims to join Trans-Pacific free trading group...

Its 2 sides of the coin.
Heads , you're the disruptive child , what do they gain by accepting you.?
Tails, why would you leave a powerful trading group to join a less powerful one, what do they gain by accepting you?

You are living in a German controlled regime where their interests come first always.

If you want your decendants to come last to German interests then you are living in the correct place.

For those that don't want German subserviance .. they'll live somewhere else.

Your seatbelt protest is awful. If you are in an accident, and badly injured due to not wearing a seatbelt, everything and everyone needed to save and then care for you are being used up from a finite resource. Somebody else might die because an ambulance wasn't available to get to them in time, or there isn't enough blood available or because you are in the operating room instead of them... and all that because you 'object' to wearing a seatbelt...? :banghead:

If some other pr i ck acted in such a way and, as a result, Mrs Czechmate or your daughter were to die, or maybe a child you know, you would be rightly outraged. Think about it, you would never see them again, no chats, no hugs, just them rotting slowly somewhere in a grave, or as ashes in a jar. Think about it.

Sh!t-stirrer...

Brexit by its nature is an economic seatbelt protest!
It’s throwing off a proven sustainable economic model, and speeding around the next hairpin bend, in the expectation of finding a dead straight five lane highway to economic nirvana.

The EU is a complex union which seeks to protect its people and maintain trade while preventing commodity dumping, environmental dumping and social dumping .
Your government wants to play devil take the hindmost.

How does this correlate to Spain and other Southern countries having massive youth unemployment and their youth having to travel North to get a job and have children ?

You have a concept in your head which doesn't match reality.

Stops "Environmental Dumping" .. are you for real ? Where does the plastic polluting our oceans come from ? You really are full of it. With millions of economic migrants being brought in the last comment about social dumping is mentally ill.

good grief!

i know but - having done so much rallying with some horrendous crashes, road driving to me has just always been a bit “no risk”

ive heard your argument many times over the years as you can imagine
I don't doubt it, probably first, foremost and most loudly from Mrs Czechmate and, if so, she's right. I know we can disagree on a lot in re politics and the EU etc. and agree on some stuff too, but none of that really matters because it's just two old farts boring others with their views and trying to score points off one another.

But not wearing a seatbelt is just a c^ntst^nt, it can't do you any harm and it could cost someone's life. :(

Made me laugh it Christmas. Bedding up the cows (in the yard) with my 3 year old grandson. He put the seatbelt on in the tractor. I didn’t even know it had one! ?

Does chlorinated chicken transported in a car need a seatbelt ?

Anyway, back on topic.

This is the Lipaurus. It gobbles up refridgerated nuclear subs containing chlorinated chicken. Let that be a warning to the confederate south who think they can send chloro- chucks to Blighty.:finger:

yeah, I think the main interest here is us selling stuff, & just making it easier to travel - apart from Scotch, what else would we want to buy ? :ROFLMAO:

Boris in his speech yesterday mentioned the fact that the UK sells boomerangs to Oz, lots of potential there then. The man is nuts. :D

If the other countries involved have nothing to gain why would they accept the UK? All sides have something to gain, the list contains countries with strong agricultural industries, very efficient car manufacturing industries and a well established financial sector.
Exactly.
From a farming point of view they would accept you as they have far more to gain than the UK.
