I bought a used one last year. It’s 2016 with 4500 hrs. It kind of replaced my Matbro ( still here). I liked it partly because it came with a Euro carriage so made my loader attachments more useful. They are not the easiest to get in and out of unless your a contortionist, mine is a very rough ride and much narrower than the Matbro. It’s output for a smaller machine has been impressive. In the last year I have had 4 hoses burst which I thought unusual on a young ( by my standards) machine, I did notice recently that the book says to change all flexible hoses after 6 years! No wonder it got part exed . It does have a locking diff which can be helpful but it’s no where near as good in the field as the Matbro, possibly partly due to low and wide flotation type tyres.Anyone on here got a weidermann 5080t pivot steer ? What’s your experience of them? And anybody ever pulled a trailer with them ? Thanks
Thanks for that , it’s either a new weidermann or second hand jcb 320 with low hours however jcb looks a fair lump for around the yard so currently undecidedI bought a used one last year. I don’t think that I wouldn’t buy another. I don’t hate it and it is way way faster than the old Matbro but I think unless space was an issue I would look at either a JCB or a Schaffer.

Yes those sizes are about it. I think it is more to do with stability than putting the power down. The Weidemann is quite narrow. The Weidemann just seems to have a much rougher ride than the Matbro in my opinion. What size tyres did your Matbro have 16.9*24 Agri tyres V 550/45 R22.5 flotation
all about putting the power down without tearing up the field
Error codes don’t fill me with confidence however all machines have their downfalls I supposeIf it behaves itself it can stay, we’ve just built a new Bâle spike frame for it so it can’t be that bad.
I switch it off and back on until they disappear. Normally dodgy connections I think. They are all the same, I believe they call it progressError codes don’t fill me with confidence however all machines have their downfalls I suppose
Don’t make a pivot steer , weidermann basically is same components as kramerWhat about a Kramer?
I know, just a suggestion as seena few comments about stabilityDon’t make a pivot steer , weidermann basically is same components as kramer
A friend runs one,at quite low hours the pivot needed replacing.Dealer only job with a special jig apparently.£700 transport to said dealer and back, total bill £££££££.Anyone on here got a weidermann 5080t pivot steer ? Schaffers look good however our dealer said there struggling to get them currently and the wait is longWe upgraded our Terex 250 to a Schaffer and have been through a series of them now, 910, 8090T and still have a 9530T and little 2345. Very reliable machine, cabs are a bit grey but decent Deutz/Kubota engines. Not good for towing but no hydrostatic will be. Becoming quite popular over here for people replacing Matbro TR200/250 size machines but not wanting the size of the JCB 320 though we demoed the 320 and it was a good machine but heavy and
