First 1 finished.

Is lego nowadays a waste of money? My son builds it. Follows instructions then plays with toy. It's never dismantled.

When we were kids we had a bucket of random lego we built stuff out of using our imagination.

He does sometimes modify the models by adding more guns and stuff.

As long as they get enjoyment from it it’s not a wast of money, doesn’t matter how they use it.

Mine won't progress to technic. It's a good skill that I want to encourage him to continue.

Hope he turns into a Phill P one day and he can sort out what I break!

Need them to take out Fortnite technic! He just wants to go about shooting people at the moment. :banghead:🤦‍♂️

This is the extent of my lego these days can’t justify adding to my technic collection while my boy is so young View attachment 929592
4 years old seems turning point youngest is 4 and a half and loves it now so it’s all back out. Technics not as fun as I remember I’ve got mostly brick stuff now and trains

I’ve bulked it up with job lots off local selling groups got 12kg before Xmas for 90 Jesus there’s some ace stuff in there you have to find rare pieces google part number and brick link will tell you what sets it’s in this little fella was amongs it all image.jpg

there must have been hundreds and hundreds worth in there and mostly complete sets when you sort through it

I've been trying a few plastic model kits started with the 2680 that was pretty easy that I brush painted then the Yanmar than has much more detail on it, and that I did some airbrushing on- still leaning that but its coming along . I'm doing a Hitachi excavator now, and I have a few more to do----- A Cat D8 , Toyota Hilux then a Cat D9 its pretty enjoyable

Show me where to buy all this cheap second hand lego, I used to play with the stuff for hours as a kid. Need to stock up on some of it. The kids are at the stage that they won't eat it.
Local Facebook groups and eBay pickup only lots which are close, got sh!t loads from these sources one lot of Facebook group came with all instructions too so easy to build all sets within !! I search ‘Lego kg’ on eBay distance nearest
