It's a freak year, i wouldn't get to hung up about it.
Could say that about most years! All seem to be exceptional!

Came through you area then down A19 to York. Lots of flat wheat about. A while since we had truly wet summer but it does happen.There is a lot of Flat wheat & spring barley in the Borders & lothians & it all looks like it is a big crop & having cut a good bit the forager its all been a good crop
