Which tyres?

I would say any tyre is going to leave an impression on soft grassland, so many factors.

Running Trelleborgs on our latest tractor and so far so good, apart from a tiny pin pr*ck hole in the sidewall which means we have a slow. It's like it's been stacked on a pallet and a nail has just pricked it, not sure, needs looked at,

Despite what some folk seem to say we've been very impressed with Continental/Mitas. Had some 600 65 38's do 5700hrs with a shed load of road work, have changed them for the same again. Original fronts are still going at near 6400hrs.

As above the 580's are a taller narrower tyre so more traction on steep grass and more road speed. 20.8's bit narrower again then you can run agribib for ultimate grip on the steep. 600's halfworn are hopeless for grip on grass but of course make less mess in soft going. 580's seem to be a good allrounder. Omnibibs will way outlast trelleborgs and grip better.
