Best spray day we've had for weeks.
Best spray day we've got forecast for weeks.
Bloody alternator sh!t itself on the Bateman.
No electrics, no spraying, apparently when the battery gets low enough the engine stops, then the emergency brake applies, even if you're driving down the road!
Ho hum.

Not arable but the pipe for the steering ram on the bendy telehandler created quite the impressive fountain this morning. Managed to bodge a pipe off the grab to get it going…… running on the dregs in the hydraulic oil tank.

managed to trap a cows head in the feeder wagon back door and drag her 30 yards down the passageway. She’s fine…… perhaps she might not be so keen to pinch the fresh silage whilst I’m feeding.

Mrs car is throwing error codes like it’s a fruit machine……. I’ve plugged in the £20 obd reader and reset the codes on the go for the minute!

and how many others are racing round to best weather this weekend

wife saw spud man this morning , he not happy hauliers sent wrong seed so they stopped . fleet stoners and 3 planters and no seed and wet week looming
just knocked off spraying . and going to put last 25 acre triticale in

Had an alternator go out on a combine a few years back. In a desperate measure to keep going over the weekend I threw a petrol generator and the battery charger up top and left it running It worked over the weekend but air filter on the genny needed cleaning every few hours or it would choke itself.
I considered the solar panels off the campervan.........
