Yes, and don’t be tempted to go above 1/2 rate
Watch your overlaps, gps not working.

what is your cultivation plan? or just broadcast on the surface? I have a 6ac patch to use up some seed from last year. After 2inches rain little hope of plough/combi on this ground for a while!
Slip over it with something to level the furrow, broacast seed then once over with duals on and shallow set power harrow , then over with a set of roll s as long as its dry enough.

its that phrase "dry enough" that concerns me :ROFLMAO: I was rather hoping you would say oats will grow just fine if you pick the least wet day, drive up and down the existing tramlines broadcasting at 24m and then close the gate till spring :ROFLMAO: surely cant be any worse than drilling them in February was :cautious:

No nothing that ' clever ' I'm afraid .
.....plus there arent any tramlines :sneaky:

Even Spilt barley on the concrete is germinating currently but better weather is coming this week.
I shouldn't think it will be a repetition of last winter.🤞

My volunteer spring oats would make an ace crop.

Spray off the crap, spreader on, light ruffle, cross fingers. No pre em. At worst, DD spring beans into the resultant cover crop.
