Beth is a deeply psychologically damaged head£@#k.
Rip is a bully, hiding behind "Nothing is bigger than the ranch" I spent the whole of the series waiting for someone to properly kick his arse.
Quite touching episode when Dutton Senior dies, having been taken by Costner on one last ride, and the Chris Stapleton song ,"Daddy doesn't pray anymore"
Teeter is absolutely the most amusing character in the series, I reckon, definitely need subtitles there.
Jimmy probably the nicest character.
Rips not a bully, he's holding it together.
Rather have Beth than a Charlene type.

Just watched an episode, the cattle died because someone threw clover bales out of an aeroplane, and the cattle got bloat. John Dutton said, we will have to burn the field to stop the clover seeding. Is clover so bad in the USA? I try to encourage clover on my fields, and feel a bit miffed if there isn't lots of it here!
I'm not sure you put horse down by shooting from under the head.
I doubt cattle would die from bloat from clover hay.

Not sure anyone would risk feeding cows hay made of red clover only, if it was diluted with other grasses then not such a problem but if it was just red clover alone it would be a brave farmer to risk it.
I probably have but not as a sole feed but as supplementary.

What happens when you feed red clover hay to stock last year....

They will bend the truth to fit in with the storyline, make things more dramatic.

I've only seen the first series but I remember one scene where they're driving through the cows, screech to a halt, grab a calving jack out the back, and sprint 30 yards to a cow calving on the open range.
They pull the 'calf' out and the shot cuts to a week old calf running away with it's tail in the air

What also gets to me in that scene is how he launches the jack over the gate. 🤦

I might try that at work this season and film the gaffers reaction.
