Overall pretty good. Had the main yield sensor go this year which wasn’t cheap to replace. Other than that it has performed pretty well.

Do you already have a moisture sensor in the combine? There are two kits from Trimble; one with moisture sensor and one without. Both under $2,500 USD. Need a display (FMX/TMX) and a yield monitor unlock (~$800 USD). If you can find a used FMX for around $2,000 USD and don't need the moisture sensor you will be in business at your $5k budget; unless your talking pounds and in that case you have a lot more room.

I’ve got a NH CX720 and have applied for exactly the same as you on the same grant and got a quote from Soil Essentials for a Ceres 8000i yield and moisture monitor with mapping which came in under the £5000 limit

Fitted a Farm TRX to my Claas Lexion last year. Did it myself in couple of hours. Works great.

Are you still using your farm TRX kit? I’m thinking about buying one for our TX68 and just wondered if you’re still getting on well with it after a few seasons? The subscription cost is probably the only thing putting me off.

It’s about £200 for up to 500 acres I think then keeps going up depending on how much your cutting.

Are you sure the combine hasn’t already got most of it on Inteliview? You’ll need the weigher head between the top of the tank elevator and the tank filing auger and the aerial to connect to GPS.
Inteliview does all the rest for you via NH’s PLM, which is a small annual fee.
