Hi all,
Wondering if someone could clear up the main differences on these for me? Asked dealer for a quote for an S last year, got a quote instead for a global (turns out they had a yard full), never did get an S quote despite asking again and at the time he'd never heard of the M! As I understand it the M is the replacement for the global but I'm a bit confused as to why both seem to be available? I would just go for an S but they are a little taller and would be borderline on getting in some of our buildings. Theres obviously the cost side too. Dealer did tell me that the D4 globals are made in France is that right? Thought they were made in China? On the engines are they different between the S and the global/M or made in different parts of the world? Not wanting something that's going to give reliability issues so want to better understand how/why globals are cheaper. Don't want something with a chocolate gearbox!
Cheers,
David
