Clearly many thousands of farmers now know that RT isn’t a legitimate company because farms still get inspected by government agencies for things that are written into law.
So my question is that all the staff must know that the RT business model is questionable, so do they have a clear conscience? Do they go to work happy? Do they come home from work happy?
Is it an unwritten part of the job description that you accept the business is effectively scaring farmers into paying RT in order to access a market they were already accessing prior to RT being created?

How do the staff feel about any come back on them down the line when it surely is all investigated, and this includes all the staff not just the senior positions. Is this why they can’t get staff at the moment? Have people realised but don’t want to talk about it?

Any RT staff wish to comment on here?

Don't know about the dead tractor staff, but the various asessors that have come to me over the years seem to start off keen then get more and more disillusioned each visit before giving up. I suppose going to a job every day when you know its just bullocks, and you know the farmer thinks it's bullocks will get people down eventually. I don't suppose the dead tractor permanent staff get much contact with us peasants, so until now they haven't realised quite how despised they are, hence blenky's backstabbers outburst, it probably came as quite a shock to the poor chap

Half the population are quite happy to pick up their wages in exchange for sub-standard work so why pick on RT staff.

Until recently they probably didn’t realise they were working for crooks.

i would say anyone still working there now is happy to go along with the scam.

I'd say some people apply for the various jobs within RT because it's a job and they need a job to earn a wage.
Some will be good, some will be bad, same as any job.
If all the inspectors sat round talking (or started a forum) I'm sure they'd all tell stories of some shocking farms they've visited. The good ones probably realise they're on borrowed time and will be trying to find other employment.
To answer the OP, a lot of employees go to work not particularly happy at the prospect.

Expect the RT social media editors are beginning to realise what farmers think about RT.

What's bad really is that as well as deleting the over zealous comments, the RT social media staff also delete the genuinely polite comments if they aren't in favour of RT.

I simply asked about the loss of the £250,000 from AHDB. Polite comment. It got deleted. That's genuine questions from their farmer members - deleted. Suggests to me they've a total disregard for their members.

They never did ring me to arrange a meeting, as you say they just delete any negative comments even if they are polite

We had an inspection a few months ago .....it didn't go well . However the lass who did the inspection came back to see us the week before Christmas . She was no longer an inspector with RT . Her comments were " my experience at your place,along with a few others before and since , made me realise what a nonsense RT was " she went on to say that the training for RT is bordering on 'brainwashing' !
We ended having a good laugh about her visit to us and she is now working with a horse feed specialist and far happier !

It's really quite sad. We had a really nice person come do our last inspection. Happy, sensible, farmer friendly, chatty, just generally nice.

Then they spoke of grumpy farmers who gave them a hard time. Inspector understood why, and I think agreed with the farmers, but ended up having to often ring through to boss to get frustration and sadness off their mind. Sort of DIY in-house counseling.

Having to inspect that there is a date written down as to when grain bucket is washed. All about what's written down, so they can tick a box. Writing it down doesn't matter, doing it is what matters.

Course, inspectors aren't employed by RT, but by the inspection body. These are the folk who get the flack. Imagine most RT staff sit in the London office oblivious to what farmers and inspectors go through.

Correct about who they are employed by and I think that's where it makes the scheme worse as RT can wipe their hands of it then and say "well we only give out the contract "

I perhaps should also say that our inspector wasn't even a local girl but had a 72 mile trip home from our place .
Didn't realise that till she said the other day .

We should be aware this is going on in all gov departments , the chap that did our Rpa mapping / general inspection said when they had department meetings there were strangers dotted around the room taking notes of names of any helpful commentator's (decenters) to the gov line . no doubt that the next time they had a reorganisation you would be out the door . He also said they were actively recruiting from non farming backgrounds because they could be harder on inspections things were either black or white as they weren't so aware of the issues we all face

She didn't come especially to us !!
She was in the area with her new job and called by more to see if we had any contacts for her in her new job as we used to supply a lot of hay to the horse industry . When she left after the RT inspection we did leave on decent terms but I was surprised to see her turn up in the yard .....
We did talk quite a lot about the RT inspection regime and I think ,to be fair, she realised that she was perhaps a bit 'too draconium' in her inspections but also said they were 'under pressure' to make it harder to pass !
One thing she commented on was that on the way back home to her horses she was mulling over it and the comment that I made " the way RT inspections are going you will soon be out of a job" made her realise that it wasn't the job for her .

My RT inspector resigned from his post 2 weeks before my last inspection was due, which itself was due in the last week of October, just before the new rules came in.
Fortunately for me, I was able to get hold of his predecessor, who kindly stepped in by the deadline.
The impression he gave me was that he will probably resign too!
On the grounds that the rules were bad enough before the new ones came in.
