I have a Lely Centreliner Supabowl (from 2000ish as far as I can remember).

Its got the 18-24m gear set (12 and 23 teeth) and I believe I'm looking for the 14 & 21 tooth gear set, or the 13 and 22 gear set (12-18m). I'm willing to buy or swap.

Currently spreading at 18m but really getting beat at maintaining PTO speed on steep hills.

Cheers.

That good were they ?
Yes. Cheaper to have spares 'in stock' than buy them from main stealer.
They are only in the metaphorical nettles, actually sitting in the corner of a low shed.
I've actually bought a pair of stainless discs and a set of stainless long vanes to make (one of) mine last forever.
At current fert costs they might not get much use but I've less than £1k in the 4.

The little ram broke on mine , bought another spreader for £51 , dealer wanted £250 for a little ram . scrapped both this spring .

I have two sets of gears a set of 14/21 and a 12/23 setView attachment 1060180View attachment 1060179

Same here. Breaker one is 12 23 same as ones I've used.
Can you not just swap the 12 and the 23 over to spread at 8-10m?

If either of you would like to part with them, let me know how much you'd like for them (postage to NI or perhaps I can swing by and pick them up if I'm in either area between now and Feb, if thats easier!).

Tried swapping before, it spreads much narrower than 8-10m, need to be in the 1000 shaft to get to 10m.

Ideally I could leave the 12-18 set in and spread grazing paddocks at 12 and silage ground at 18m. No tramlines here anyway.
