To be fair our landline got wet in a storm and I’ve not bothered replacing so we don’t have one either. Same rules apply on the mobile, if I don’t know the caller I assume the caller is a thieving cnt and treat them as such until proven otherwise.

Yep I run 2. I’ll only answer the call if it’s convenient to me to identified callers otherwise I’d never get anything done. I try and return most of the calls while driving (on handsfree obviously). Chatting on the phone wastes so much time if it’s while you’re doing something else and quite often the caller is oblivious to that fact. Rather than rushing the conversation and being rude I just turn the tables. Works for me
