Recommend me a car ( no this isnt a pickup thread)

Toyota Rav or maybe a Scoobie forster but you'll have to live with their lousy MPG. Stick with petrol engines if you don't do many miles a year.
OP has a CX5 and says he doesn't need anything that big which would mean CHR, or XV. Based on his post hes doing 7-8000 miles a year. New RAV is great a few near me have them and are getting 40-50mpg

Do they still make the Rav in 2 and 4 door guises? Saw a newish one Monday last week and didn't think they were that big. Forester is a bit long I admit.

Only doing 7000-8000 miles a year is petrol territory.

That Skoda yei might also be worth a look, not sure all of them are 4wd though.
Yeti went off sale maybe 2017? The Kamiq that replaced it is FWD

The last 2 door rolled off the line around oh, 2000 or so. It's same class as the Tiguan, CX5, Nissan Squashi etc.

What would be a good 7 seater for not a fortune? Would love a xc90 but theyr way outa the price range
depends on what the price range is . 10 k your looking at X Trails and Galaxys, proabably 2015. 15k Your into older Kia Sorrento's, 20k your looking at 2020 seat tarracos and Outlanders maybe a Santa Fe

Tarraco, Santa Fe and Sorrento are probably closest to the XC in what they offer.

Avoid any Mitsubishi car- they aren't selling these into Europe any more so the parts supply might dry up. Those outlanders are also trash.

Jogger or get an Alphard for £10k and travel in style, I've got one and its lovely 25mpg but it won't give much trouble beyond that
See i liked the look of the dacia jogger for the money, but i went onto a forum about them and all i could read was about bad clutches which put me off a bit, mabe thats sorted now?
