As per the title, is their any tractors that suit my needs. We have really steep and boggy land and would like a 4wd. We have managed with a 2wd with some trouble and some close shaves. The farm is small so I would like something with a good turning circle. I take it all 4wd have worse turning circle than 2wd even in the same model. I'm guessing 80hp but its not important. Anything from about 65hp probably. Good brakes is a must and able to handle carrying round bales. I'm guessing around £12,000 but can spend more if a must. We work at our own machinery so old tractors arent a problem. That's all I can think of for now. I'd rather get some good information from your experience so I can narrow down to a few tractors and start shopping around. There is no point me going out clueless and buying something with a crap turning circle that would be very clumsy around our small farm.

What? They said they work on their own machines - they'll know how to bleed brakes

Engine will eat a Deere 2850

LSD differential will grip where they've never gone before, yet turn near as tight as a ducks arse swimming in a thawing lake

Just saying.....
Got a 7340 with a loader , overheats if does to much work but ok for yard work ,
clutch is knackered but not got round to sorting it 🤑🤑 , starts well in all weathers but nightmare for jumping in and out of , need to swap it but not got round to it

Another vote for a 2850 or a 2650. Most nimble 4wd tractor of that era. Should find a decent one for £12k.
Mine’s still earning its keep at 35 years old.

H reg. Not from new but for a long time. I used it for rolling a couple of days ago because everything else was busy or busted and I quite enjoyed a couple of hours proper field work with it. Only down side is 30k box, it took me nearly as long to get there as it did to do the job!
Yes they are slow , do about 17-18 mph tops if not been messed with but feels less than that ...🤣
