Always the same soon as we have a little bit of cold weather and all the weaknesses are shown up, such as pipes that should, or need lagging, on the tractor front, the old scraper tractor, ford 6610,1983, that starts everytime, has not the "energy" to crank fast enough in these few cold mornings?, Even with my rather old, Pathetic, battery, charger, with fast charge, start, switch, the old girl just could not summon up enough energy to crank fast enough? This morning its milder, so started like a gooden, have ordered a new battery so we will be ready next time the weather gets colder? Two questions, one any suggestions for a "cheap" battery tester? Theres so many on E bay? Two are those battery booster packs worth having, i was watching george saunders on youtube, showing a "topdon js3000" starting his ford tw25, that had a totally flat battery, looked to good to be true? Please any comments on what you have bought, and have , did your purchase , prove to be a good investment? Or what good battery chargers, reconditioners, starters have you found and bought? Im sure many would like to know, its comming into this type of weather?
So , all the advice has been given , we're you expecting a miracle ? a free one ?

That stuff doesnt work on its own, you need to fit one of these switches to activate the combustion process.
