Agleader Incommand autosteer

Is anyone using an Agleader Incommand autosteer setup on a self propelled sprayer to accurately steer round field headlands ? We have the boundaries accurately mapped but need to be able to drive very accurately round the fields. Also how good is the line acquisition when turning at the headlands and how smooth is it ? Thanks.

I use an Ontrac 3 with Incommand on a Bateman. On on egnos so quite drifty when come back to fields each time. Doesn't really answer your question but you'd want to have steer command and rtk I'd say as the Ontrac wouldn't do what you want. Think there is a replacement for Ontrac now which might be better on a more accurate correction signal.

Had paradigm on Bateman till it gave up, since reverted to egnos section control without auto steer.

I found the paradigm ok up to about 10k, thereafter the front end started swinging about and booms yawed. Line acquisition at ends was similar, ok, but not great, also couldn’t handle 4ws, totally confused it, but that was a 12 yr old system. It was accurate on the headlands, but it needed it’s time, drive too quick and it all went tits up.

No experience of anything newer.

I have Agleader Incommand 1200 on my year 2020 Bateman and I am tyring to get it activated to RTK. I believe all I need is an activation code and perhaps a modem. Can I get a response from Ag Leader UK dealers? NO! I am getting frustrated with the lack of support? YES! I run Greenstar onthe tractors and the combine. I am getting to the point, although it will cost more, of putting Greenstar on the sprayer as well. At least I already have an RTK receiver.

Does anyone know where I can buy the Ag Leader RTK Activation online?

Hi. Very sorry of your trouble with support. Basicly for rtk you need receiver with rtk. If you are using assited steering like steady steere, you can use any receiver with rtk corection. But if you have z2 steering you need agleader 7500 reciver with rtk unlock. For that your support dealer need serial from reciver. Also you need Aux cable from 7500 cable b connection to screen. And then you need internet hotspot. We deal with agleader in diifernt Country. And Im sure after u get everything up and running you will be suprised with performance. And remember to ask for demo unlock for headland auto turn function.

We run a 1200 with steer command (plumbed in steering) on our knight 1835 and it’s brilliant can fault it and to be fair get decent support from Agleader. Did you buy the machine from Bateman with the Agleader installed by them or?

What is the line acquisition like when turning in at the ends and is it good at higher speeds (16kph) ?

We get on just fine the plumber in version is a different animal to the steering wheel on turn in and higher speed work. The steering wheel is fine once your on line but the plumbed in is worth the premium.

Yes bought it from Batman so it was factory-installed.

I have got to the bottom of it now. I have ordered the unlock RTK code for the existing gps 7500 receiver and I need a roaming sim. All ordered now from UK agleader dealer. I will ask about the demo unlock. Be nice if it turned on headlands 👍

First port of call wants to be bateman, as they buy the kit from the Importer at OEM discount rates obviously greater than retail discount rates so in theory should support it to a point themselves before working in conjunction with the importer to resolve an issue they can't themselves as they have made a chunk of money out of selling you the kit. In the same way if you had an hydro issue first port of call would be Bateman before you contacted the importer of the hydro motors / pump

When it is, I will let you know. Quite happy with ag leader on the sprayer. Be nice if I could upload my John Deere RTK boundaries and lines onto ag leader. Am I right in thinking it is possible but not straightforward?

If you talk to Derek the Agleader importer I think he should be able to using SMS software or possibly your JD dealer should be able to export them as Agleader files from the Online Portal. Talk to Derek He'll explain what's possible and what's not

Just remember you need also Aux cable for incommand and receiver cable B port.

You can get a 4-network, unsteered, roaming SIM from v12.co.uk - a lot of folk up here use them, quite good apparently.
