I know, claas dealer is an hour away for combine parts. I like our Case's, had them on the Farm mostly for the last 20 years, other brands are only 20 minutes away and have good relationships with them. I'd rather 20 minutes than an hour, adds up over the life of a tractor the extra 40 minutes each way

Sure 2 of the claas dealers mechanics stay about 20 mins from you

If i was a betting man i'd agree with the Hodge idea for Lanarkshire

Pure guess at Hodge already in Case plant sales in Lanarkshire and dipped his toe in Case tractors further north.

Hodge plant, had a depot, in nairn, up beside inverness, for a few years. Selling Case construction and Deutz tractors. Only sold a few tractors. Plant guys aren't happy . Mechanics are, travelling up from south. Best part of 8 hours travelling, up and back.
