waste of time appealing to nml, we had an extremely dubious fail, buyer test passed, and milk processed. The 'fail' a/b, was a type we have never used, the cow was bought in, their vets confirming never been used, and vendor adamant not tubed. Both buyer, and us, complained, and had to chase for the result, 8 days later, 'sample gone off, couldn't test'. That sample was the 'check' sample kept by the buyer, so no mix-up.
Further complaint, by both buyer, and us, concluded, 'we are reviewing our procedures'.
result, we lost out, buyer used the milk as normal. In fairness, the buyer quickly realised it was a 'funny' result, and really tried to help. At the end of the day, result had to stand.
The 'complaint' procedure, and the 2nd sample held by buyer, should work, it didn't, and both of us are sure it was a rogue result, and they 'lost' the 2nd sample. ##############'s
on off label use of drugs, we got pulled up by a Spanish min vet, over a calf, with a bad eye, it had been treated with orbenin dc, on advice of, its exactly the same stuff, you use for eye ointment, but different label.
Nothing she could pull us up on, correct procedure followed, just the ointment 'packaging' but she really didn't like it, so vet records/med use etc, all perused, and correct.
All down to 1 old lady, with funny views.
