If you’re loosing £80 a off the top line yes rents have to fallDo aha rents have to fall? I was led to believe they were linked to productivity, rather than profitability........
Fbt rents going nowhere so long as cereal prices are c£150/t.

I suppose there will be more variation between prime land and everything else, not everywhere enjoys the efficiencies of the vast arable plains of Lincolnshire. Small fields, awkward shapes, slow draining, narrow working windows, bad roads and slopes all gobble up profitIf you’re loosing £80 a off the top line yes rents have to fall
I wouldn't have said fbt's are about willy waving, but I would have said there's plenty of smart a.r.s.e.s on aha's who don't know their born, but think they're god's gift.In the case of aha obviously the sub makes up a good chunk of profit so if that goes then I’ll certainly be arguing at the next review that rent must fall. Different ball game with fbts that’s all about the Willy waving .
