It just keeps on getting better doesn't it. Not only Covid, but how about dying of covid and hypothermia in an ambulance stuck in a 10 foot snow drift on the A46, being nursed by Hattie Jaques on the way to Lincoln County Hospital that's full anyway. Think I will switch the news off for a bit. "Lincoln County" hospital. Has a certain "Dukes of Hazzard" type ring to it.

It is a long term forecast like that which will make me think it's about time to book a trip to the Canaries.... A couple of months sounds about right! :)

I was lambing outside in the previous Beast....buggered if I want to do the same again though have to say the stock faired well.....me on the other hand got fed up with defrosting pipes, dragging feed out, fighting to get the telehandler to fire up, fed up with ice covered roads/yard, idiots out to test their 4WD's thinking they are invincible....

Our "lambing shed" got filled with AAX heifers yesterday, much to Herself's annoyance as I now don't have anywhere for her ****ing ewes! Think I will clear a bay in the new hay barn for them and get some brownie points. ;) BUT.... no power there as yet. L O N G extension cable I reckon...

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
