Best advice you never paid for...

My old man could write a book on saying but the one that makes me smile is
‘You won’t be able to fix that lad Not as long as you’ve got a hole in your arse’
Another I heard years ago was
‘A man without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder‘

I know that well enough, been drifting like it for about 12 months it feels.

I have loads of little ones that I've picked up over the years and they are always useful in when different situations arise.

Shy wains get no sweets

If you do the same thing over you'll only get the same result.

A little fire will always heat you but a big one can burn you.

You only skin a cat once but you can shear a sheep every year.

Buy once and cry once

Never share a doubt

take a good look at your mother in law when seeking a bride , the best advice my mother gave me and bless her she passed on before I married , sound advice,.Mindst you mrs 4 course doesnt particularly like being told she s just like her mother ( usually when we have a difference of opinion)

“You’ve got to look at the cat before you poke the kitten “is how it was put to me.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
