what's everyone's go to brand or tyre type. don't want the most expensive, just want the best mid range on and off road that does the job without costing a fortune.

Mt71 Kuhmo are good offroad and on, bit noisy on motorways but handle well enough. Or Toyo MT are good. Don't rate BFG they always go out of shape before they are worn out.

Have maxis 771 on mine but only crossing fields to check cattle too wet and quads used are you looking for all rounders or mud terrains

General Grabber AT3 here on a navara, just swapped a pair off for new at 36k miles, they had been swapped back to front but I should’ve done it sooner and might’ve got another lump out of the whole set

I put General Grabbers AT2 on one of the Isuzu’s and the sidewalls went before they were half worn. It did have a heavy trailer on more than half of that time. I have General Grabbers on the Range Rover 2nd set they are crap. Sidewalls are too thin

all rounders. when off road it's only fields, not going stupid places.
We have run these on jeeps and Ranger that does the feed round in pretty rubbish conditions, they grip on and off road, quiet on road, last well and are very good value... never had a puncture either. As posted above the Avons on the lc have done us well, no longer in production but you might still find a set.
