Acquired a key part of the farm tool kit for rather good value not so long ago but it seem to have gremlins which constantly demand cash to fix.

it is just had another fit and I’ve decided it’s thus got to go.

i can’t sell it locally, ideally I would trade it in with a dealer but they may wonder why I’m after similar after such little time enjoying owning it!

auction? Where is best to offload? second hand market seems very strong at the moment so might as well make the most of it!

What are its faults. , some one may know how to cure it or buy it cheap , and run it
What exactly is wrong or does it need the Thick farmer treatment

electrical gremlins. Ive got a very good mechanic who has the mobiles of the HQ’s Technition’s etc.

I want to trade it in but not for a new one, more Like same again but gremlin free!

2nd hand market seems strong for sure, seen a machine with same hrs, same spec but slightly younger for almost double what i paid!

Ok, I look at this from a different point to please try to read it before deciding.
a) you bought a machine for “rather good value”
In other words it was cheap.
b) younow want to sell it to some other poor suspecting farmer..... and get as much back as possible?
c) If you were the poor suspecting farmer who bought it then discovered this thread, how would you feel?
So my answer is to be honest, sell it advertised with all its faults and take it in the chin .

I agree to an extent but if he puts it in at such as York then I’m sure most know that most of the stuff in the York auction is there for a reason and there will be something wrong with it - or am I getting cynical in my old age

Not entirely. I've put 2 bits of good things in York this week and I know other dealers are as well. Stuff is making as much in sales as it would in dealers yard.
