Once went to a tapas bar for a meal in Penrith the bar lady turned a big TV on with bullfighting on after 10 minutes I walked straight out without paying how the feck is that allowed in this day and age
How different to pheasant shooting, fishing, deer stalking? and please do not reply with ’they die instantly’.
It is part of southern Spain’s culture and farming.
Go and survey some cattle and ask them if they prefer a big day out and their chance to fight back or an 8” rod into their skull in an ABP crush, I know what I would opt for.

Pics show fairly healthy looking beasts. (young bulls I'd guess, not cows).
Can't believe there isn't a Spanish chancer who'll receive them, cull whatever needs dispatching, and get the rest rested, fed, back in fettle....and hung up.
and then exported to UK for final prep into burgers for supermarket shelves with a Union Flag on the packet

The Worlds a fudge up thats for sure, well not the World per se , just fudging people

To be honest he does have a point, grown men dressed in tights teasing a bull is ridiculous in this day and age.

Whilst a bit off topic.
I’ve flown with a number of horse consignments from Heathrow to Sydney, and latterly Melbourne in 747’s. They are treated as any other Cargo and are loaded into pods of 3 direct from horse lorry on the tarmac then onto the plane. They have often been taken off at Amsterdam, Sharjah or Singapore to enable loading of other pallets and retrim. The horses are generally fine and behave as if they were on a lorry, indeed I think they think they are. I’ve not flown with cattle but speaking to various crew they say they are actually less trouble and I believe are usually in crates of 15 ( 3 pallets of space).
The scissor lifts loading into/out of the planes are the dodgest time.
We have had the odd drama but by and large it works well and some of the shuttle stallions have paper values which would make your eyes water. They are exceptionally well catered for.
I would think ship board travel would be much the same.

I don't disbelieve you, but it was the Arabs who invented AI . Domestic camels find it very difficult to get it together, no idea why
I’m not familiar with the breeding of Camels. But they do race them, so I expect there is a breeding program to get the best bloodlines.

Mind you, they do have some strange breeding and training programs over there.
My father never sold anything in Saudi, despite trying hard to do so. He was called to an existing dairy farm built by Mastock to inspect the cattle. The owner was a wealthy Arab, with three wives and many children.

When he got there, he was shown a group of pedigree yearling bulls and heifers that had been put in a paddock together. They were a nice bunch and looked well, especially the heifers.

My father said so, but asked why both sexes were bunched together. Explaining that the reason the heifers looked so well was because they were all in calf.

”No!” said the owner. “They can’t be, because the bulls haven’t been trained yet.”

My father replied “Did anybody train you?”

Similar to Rugby really. Let’s ban that too, causes all sorts of injuries and life changing problems for some individuals.

Rugby players are willing participants a bull in a ring is not, nor does it consent to being stabbed to death in front of a blood thirsty crowd.

Some people would argue so is eating meat, or hunting with dogs, or hunting with guns. Morals are an intensely personal thing.

Hunting for pest control and for meat consumption can be defended as they are supported via solid reasoning,

However, men in tights and leggings tormenting animals to a slow painful death because they were bullied at school should be banned. I bet if we had a vote in this country and in Spain the votes in favour of banning activities such as bull fighting would win by a landslide.
