Was quiet first thing, although we were in at 7.40
By late morning it was pretty busy I thought, had a good feel

If nothing else it was nice to catch up with people face to face for a change and to stock up on hats, pens and notepads that have been dwindled since I last went 3 years ago!!

Was finished by 3 and home by 5.15 so good result

Highlight of the day though was being within meters of @Clive although my giddiness prevented me from approaching him, and besides, I had nothing for him to autograph as the free pen situation was on the slack side
I was brave enough to say hello and shake his hand

I have two tickets for today for grabs, I cannot go, but got them free from farmers weekly, first come first served.
You will have to pm me your email. So I can forward the ticket to you.

Wow, that was quiet! Last time I went was in 2018 and it seems to be a shadow of the show it used to be.
Nice to get out and chat to a few people on stands though.
Thanks to the kind people who gave me a lift back to Fowlmere airfield. I don’t really know who you were, other than you’re contractors in Norfolk, and jolly nice people. :)

What did you think of the new Claydon drill?

Beefed up frame and depth wheels which are now hydraulic, even on the mounted version with leading front discs on the frame for cutting trash. Looked a good improvement I thought.

Been there the last 2 days, without doubt much smaller but still felt like plenty of people there and well worth the visit

LOT less shiny machinery on show but maybe that's as much down to availability as any other factor right now, most manufacturers I spoke to said orders were being taken as much as 12 months in advance now

There was a nice atmosphere and it was great to speak to lots of people, maybe a little confused in what it is and its direction .............. but so is this entire industry right now IMO !
