Cheapest strength liquid N

We’ve bought N24 7SO3 for £525/t earlier on in the season. I’m fully aware that it’s not the best value p/kg N but it suits our system. If we were to move away from this strength but stay liquid what is the best value around please?

This year I couldnt get any straight N for 2023. Seems a bit of a scam really. They would only go as high as N24. In the past I've had N30 which is 39% W/V and really handy for reducing amount of fills needed. My original idea for 2023 was Straight N and polysulphate for S and some K but they were only offering the N24 so they could "ration" the N! WTF. Next year they will be getting told, straight N or take your tanks out.

This year with the crazy price of AN and AS we are going all N20 straight Urea. Will be a lot more product to apply but by far the best vale per Kg/N. Polysuphate for S.

N20 is 1 ton of urea desolved in 1550 lts of water will make 2500 lts of n20 . n30 with 10 sulphur is a very handy product Always liked n25 14 s for osr .

N30S (30n/10s) Suits cereals really well as works out about right ratio of n to s and keeps it simple in my mind with a nice amount of s in every application . N25 s (25n14s) i like for osr where the osr responds well to to a higher s amounts . Now here we are using chicken muck at 8ton ha dressed on in spring and 150 kg of N in liquid form and the yields are just the same as before no bagged pk Some years we do use a load or two of phibrophos on away ground .
N20 that people use for protein boosting is expensive when you work it out years ago when urea was £250 a ton N20 used to be around £200 a a cube (1000lts) so in my fag packet maths that works out at around £300 for them to melt the urea into liquid form , a nice little earner for Yara .

It’s not rationing, it’s the reality of AN prices.

I have more liquid AS than I need (9.84%N). If anyone near the Scottish Borders wants to do a swap for solid urea then send a PM.
