Dingwall Tup Sale.

Just in from skipinnish gig in Pitlochry! I got my pick from the torrish pen and the lone entry from north lochnaver.
I’ll post photos in the morning

I got my my pick from the torrish pen too! They had a serious pen of sheep in lairg!

I had a bad sale only got 3 out of the 5 I needed, far too fussy for my own good!

I only managed in for a wee while, but thought there was some decent enough sheep to be had for not too much money. Buyers seemed cautious on the tups from the south?

They did seem cheaper. I got attonburn for 250 quid.
The south sheep are definetly bigger and fatter. The 'hills' in the borders will be a world away from a hill in sutherland

Aye it was for these reasons I was brought up to be wary of them, but in the last few years it didn’t seem to make as much difference, they seemed to be selling well, but did notice it yesterday.
