Son’s GF was looking seriously for one for a few months but an 3 litre X5 M Sport came up with low mileage and a far better reputation - had been a trade in at a LR main dealer and been through their workshops - not used for towing but quite a nice toy and bought outright with her “bonus”.
Low mileage in my world means less than 70,000 miles in 9 yearsThat's what my wife ended up buying. Looked much better value for money if you can describe a car like that as value for money.
Been 100% reliable up till now had it 2.5 years. Got MOT tomorrow.
Geez you don't hang about!Bought the Volvo

aah, but no depreciation?just a joke, fendts are 3 times the money of ordinary tractors
Zetor do you drive a Fendt or a Zetor because you prefer to spend your money on a new Disco?Agree with above Traded my disco sport for a new Disco D300 amazing car & better on fuel despite 300hp & straight 6
If you’re vat registered & go for the commercial the price is very similar but you do have to add back seats
I’m not sure about the crank issues
Yup soon as we sat in it we commented how comfortable it was and it did fly . Our old car is manual but took to the auto no issuesExactly the same spec then. They absolutely fly, and the interior trim really nice, especially the seats
I own the Zeta, bank owns the Fendt.Zetor do you drive a Fendt or a Zetor because you prefer to spend your money on a new Disco?
Just done a deal to change my discovery,2yr old and got more than I paid for it,I can live with depreciation like that!
Are they standing by the deal of £5,500 to change? If they do, I’d be tempted to wait for the Defender. What have you replaced it with? I done a deal in may to change my 18 plate disco 5 for a defender at 5.5k to change with delivery next month, got told 3 weeks ago I now won’t be seeing the new one for 12-16 months!!!
That would be the icing on the cake, but I think I’d pay a warranty myself if it kept the price to change that low.Are they standing by the deal of £5,500 to change? If they do, I’d be tempted to wait for the Defender.
With a warranty on your old car
