My pal sprayed it two months ago and all went dead, I have been busy ever since, I want to sow ryegrass, do I need to get it sprayed again?

What's growing ? grass .My pal sprayed it two months ago and all went dead, I have been busy ever since, I want to sow ryegrass, do I need to get it sprayed again?
I should be so lucky, thistles and other weeds. Funny how without soil disturbance it comes back. What's growing ? grass .
Ploughing or tickling ?I should be so lucky, thistles and other weeds. Funny how without soil disturbance it comes back.
I was going to rotavate it with a 6 metre machine.Ploughing or tickling ?
That won't touch the thistles .I’d spray it. 3l of glyphosate is cheap weed control

You won't have clover in your mix presumably ?I was going to rotavate it with a 6 metre machine.
No, every weed pollen off the plain blows down into this valley, need to spray every year and clover makes things expensive sadly. You won't have clover in your mix presumably ?
Just sow it then , thistles will come back anyway , do them when the new crop has emergedNo, every weed pollen off the plain blows down into this valley, need to spray every year and clover makes things expensive sadly.
Thistlex is only a tenner , they will be no more .I would hit that with kyleo if it is full of thistles and wait at least 2 weeks before doing anything to it afterward.
3L of straight roundup if it is just grass.

If it's sown now , grazed in the autumn , spray thistles next spring .It's all the other stuff I would be worried about, also you can't use thistleX on new leys from memory.

You can chase your arse for thistles , killing them now won't guarantee no thistles in 2 months .Fudge that, will only let them recover and grow more root. Also thistles don't always poke their heads up that early. You don't want them in your silage/hay.
