You can chase your arse for thistles , killing them now won't guarantee no thistles in 2 months .

I agree, it is likely Punta will need to spray twice, but if they are creeping thistles you can bet your arsh that they won't be showing their faces my mid May which is when he will want to be cutting his grass.

A dose of kyleo now may well nobble the bulk of them for good. Maybe more will be hiding underneath, maybe they won't all die. That is the nature of the beast.

OR he could be devious, round up the trash now, sow his grass and spray it in the autumn with something that will fold them all up easy.

It’s a bit disconcerting to see this lot appear from nothingness in two weeks and looked barren for a month post spraying. Probably be cheaper to buy silage bales than spray it buy seed then drill it and spray it again and mow, turn, bale, wrap. Funny old business farming.

Sow wheat on it , doddle to kill the weeds , and free straw
