Extending a sprayer boom from 24 to 27 metres?

I’ve got a Knight sprayer on 24m booms which I’d like to extend to 27, but I can’t see an obvious way of doing it.
If I add the extention to the end section, they’ll stick out too far and clash when opening. If I add it to the main section the boom will be extremely close to cab.
It doesn’t look like boom rests can be altered to change the park angle of the booms.
Has anyone done this, got any other bright ideas or know of anyone that could do this, and approx how much?

While waiting on our new 28m horsch we had our old knight extended from 24 to 28 by adding 2m to each end but it folded up manually on top of section with a tap in line so could turn off or on when we wanted, anything that was still sown at 24m tramlines could still be sprayed without overlap but all the new sown crops could get pre ems at 28m by folding them down and turning tap

Change the drill, it will be easier 🤣
Or just drill a 1/2 bout first round or just don’t bother with a headland tramline

Already do the half drill width but the drill won’t shut half width, have to do centre tramlining too. With lots of small fields the saving in seed and time could be significant.
Im beginning to agree with you that changing the drill might be easier

why do you want to go to 27m in first place? your not changing any kit and the extra 3m on tramline width is hardly worth it, is it just to save half width on first run? might be simpler to knock it back to 21m if that's the case
