26 y/o Farmers son with not enough work to stay at home, off a small family farm

Full UK drivers license
formal qualifications
Pa 1,2, 4 S+G
telehandler certificate

Experienced in a multitude of livestock tasks

Cattle beef and dairy

Calf rearing
De horning and administrating Meds
Milking
Calving
Cattle handling
Tagging

Sheep

Handling
Administrating Meds
Lambing
Tagging
Shearing

Experience in grass based grazing systems and paddock grazing, formulating rations and generic stockmanship and management

Arable and tractor work undertaken as well

Meticulous Maintenance and upkeep of equipment attained through working for agricultural contractors

Experience in; cultivation’s, ploughing (beginner), drilling, rolling, fertiliser and spray application, mowing, tedding, rowing up, carting with silage trailers and flat trailers, baling (grass and straw) and wrapping, buckraking, muck spreading and slurry spreading, operation of loading shovel, loaded lorries

Experience with gps and record keeping, computer literate, also in estate skills; livestock fencing, hedge laying and generic farm maintenance

Experience of team and staff management

Seeks challenging position, accommodation not essential but preferred


Currently working self employed but would go on the books

Would happily accept a pure arable or livestock job but mixed would be preferred
