Fendt Balers

Last year I noticed a couple of new Fendt big square balers at work on wheat straw, and then this past week a brand new Fendt round baler went past the house on its way to a nearby hay field. The question is are Fendt adding anything to these MF/NH products beyond green paint and their badge?

Absolutely nothing, and they’re not available from NH any more. That particular agreement ended a few years back.

Fendt and MF square balers are made on the same line in the same factory. They can be a bit cheaper than MF though as they’re trying to get market share.

Wonder why the fendt wagon and katana isnt offered in massey livery? Also why is it tge fendt katana isnt really doin well for sales compared to claas nh krone and jd?

A guy I know had had 2 Katanas one 65 and then an 85. The 85 apparently has been handed back to the dealer as not being fit for purpose as it spent more time broken than running. He is only a farmer doing his own with no contracting so not over worked by any means. I understand that it is an ongoing discussion as to the way forward but he has ordered a Claas which says it all really.

Only one Fendt chopper I know of in this part of the world, though many others tried it.
