I opted for a 14' 'wheels on the outside' model, but went a bit narrower in the body to bring the total trailer width somewhere similar to the 'wheels under' one. Had several IW's with wheels underneath over the years, and had a 12' IW of each at home. The wheels outside one always towed better and was far easier to tow off road when loaded, so didn't want one with wheels under.
Losing a bit of internal width reduces the capacity a bit of course, but also reduces the amount an unscrupulous operator might overload it by.

You'd be suprised where they'll go with the wheels on the outside, but you do need to be concentrating on what you doing.

Not at all.

I know that I might be more tempted to go more overweight if I could physically carry more though. Would sometimes be handy when towing behind a tractor though.

I'm guessing that's about 22ft. As to price, ring the more recent owners Dan and Emma and ask. They're very pro-active, practical and keen to develop what farmers actually want
