How do you weigh loads of produce

I've looked at the website.

So do you have to tip the trailer to weigh the load & does slightly sloping terrain affect the reading?

How do you know how high to tip the load?

So maybe £!,800 now, I could afford that.

Weighbridge is better because can weigh fertiliser spreader or sprayer attached to tractor for calibration, but got to be way more expensive.
I paid £1200 in January for one.

One of the best and most used things I’ve ever bought is a Weighbridge! It’s so handy especially when pretty much our entire industry revolves around weight, seed, fert, straw, cereals, livestock. I mean what other industry would know exactly what they have in stock at that moment in time, or how much they have produced.
I wouldn’t be without mine now and you also become quite popular 😂

We replaced our old Griffiths elder weighbridge last year after the previous one got struck with lightning. Ours is a multi axle pit mounted bridge.
Useful to know accurate yields from fields, sometimes wish you didnt as can disappoint!, What amount of crop is in store so you can confidently sell a known tonnage if the price is right.
Also dont have a fancy fert spreader with weigh cells, Instead I check with weighbridge after spreading a field to check kg / ha.
Griffiths elder do portable weigh beam versions for under 10k if you dont want to do any ground works.
Our old bridge lasted about 30 years so was good value.

£1200
We have one ,Rds. an old one , 30 year old , started playing up a bit this time , send it it back for them to check it out
Calibrate it accurately , I put Fert bags in and keep recording weighs and just nudge cal factor till about near enough and tip to same point ,have two tipping pipes weighing spool turned down so it goes up nice and steady to marked point , then other spoil quicker to tip and then both in float so comes down quicker it’s with in 1:2 %
